Stockton, CA — September 18, 2017 — Applied Aerospace Structures Corporation (AASC), a leading manufacturer specializing in lightweight structures and assemblies for the aerospace industry, announced it has received its fourth Nadcap Certification for Measurement and Inspection (M&I). AASC continues to hold Nadcap Certifications in Non-Destructive Testing, Chemical Processing and Composites.

“This certification will not only bring further validation to our current industry recognized 3D measurement capabilities, but will also provide increased discipline and consistency to our measurement acquisition and reporting, which utilizes our CMM’s, Laser Trackers, and Articulating Arms.” said Mike Guthmiller, Director of Quality at AASC.

AASC received Nadcap M&I accreditation for demonstrating their ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications. “Achieving Nadcap accreditation is not easy: it is one of the ways in which the aerospace industry identifies those who excel at manufacturing quality product through superior special processes. Companies such as AASC work hard to obtain this status and they should be justifiably proud of it,” said Joe Pinto, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Performance Review Institute. “PRI is proud to support continual improvement in the aerospace industry by helping companies such as AASC be successful and we look forward to continuing to assist the industry moving forward.”
